One-Punch Man Manga Enters Hiatus, Will Resume on July 17

Manga artist Yūsuke Murata has announced that his series with ONE will take a break for two months due to various circumstances. The hiatus will end on July 17, when the manga will resume on Shueisha's free Tonari no Young Jump web service. This is not the first time the series has paused, as it previously entered a hiatus in June this year.

One-Punch Man has been a popular series since its launch in 2012, with Murata and ONE reworking ONE's original web manga of the same name. The series has seen immense success, with the release of three seasons of anime, including a highly-anticipated third season set to premiere in October.

The manga's anime adaptation has been well-received globally, with the first season airing in Japan in 2015 and subsequent seasons premiering on various streaming platforms. A live-action film adaptation is also in the works, with Sony Pictures and Justin Lin set to direct and Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon and screenwriter Heather Anne Campbell rewriting the script.
