Demon Slayer Film Returns to US and Canada Theaters with New 4K Screenings

Aniplex of America and Crunchyroll announced that the Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train anime film will return to theaters in the United States and Canada on May 14, with new 4K screenings. The film will be screened in Japanese with English subtitles and with the English dub. Tickets will be available for purchase starting April 30.

The film was first screened in theaters in North America in April 2021, and it became a huge success, breaking box office records in Japan and worldwide. The film topped the box office in Japan for 12 consecutive weeks and became the first film ever to pass the 40 billion yen milestone.

The Demon Slayer franchise has been a huge success, with the anime films and television series being streamed and broadcast globally. The franchise has also spawned various spin-offs, including the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film trilogy, which is scheduled to be released in theaters worldwide, including IMAX and other premium large screen formats, on September 12.
