"Ethereum Has Long-Term Potential": Why Experts Believe in ETH Price Recovery
Ethereum has recently faced a significant decline in price, with a nearly 32% drop in February and another 19% decline in March. However, experts believe that the cryptocurrency still has long-term potential. Despite the current challenges, Ethereum's institutional support remains strong, and the network is seen as the foundation for tokenization and long-term crypto infrastructure.
According to CoinGlass, Ethereum's price dropped by 32% in February and 19% in March, making it the worst February in the coin's history. The decline has continued since January, raising concerns about the coin's direction.
Tim Delhaes, CEO and founder of Grindery, noted that while Ethereum is facing uncertainty and negative sentiment, the platform still has a strong long-term potential. \"I remain confident in Ethereum's long-term potential, but in the short term, the platform is facing considerable uncertainty and negative sentiment, which is always a cause for concern,\" he said.
Eneko Knörr, CEO and co-founder of Stabolut, also expressed concerns about Ethereum's current state, citing the unintended consequences of the Dencun upgrade, which was meant to reduce network fees. Knörr noted that the update has reduced the fees that flow through the system, which is a key way investors assess the network's value.
Despite the challenges, Ethereum is still attracting institutional support, with Knörr noting that institutions are choosing Ethereum thanks to its unmatched decentralization, rock-solid security, and deep developer ecosystem. Knörr believes that Ethereum's reputation continues to support its position among institutions, even with increased competition and technical challenges.
For now, it remains unclear whether Ethereum's price will rise and when. However, experts believe that the cryptocurrency still has a strong long-term potential, and it's worth keeping an eye on its developments in the coming months.
